Agrifac Machinery introduces their range of self-propelled crop sprayers in Nebraksa
Since 1986, Agrifac pledged to produce only the most innovative, stable and reliable self-propelled crop sprayers for growers on a global scale. Basing their craftmanship on the wants and needs of farmers themselves, the Dutch manufacturers soon became a household name and are now actively supporting farmers in more than 40 countries worldwide. In 2023, the crop spraying giants make history once more as they launch into the United States of America.
Enterprising on this global success, Agrifac launched a growth mission which would drive their machines into the future ag space, both in terms of accuracy, efficiency and coverage, as well as within highcapacity locations with vast plains of farmland. This mission has been underway in Australia since 2009, as well as in Canada since 2014, where grain growers are reaping the benefits of maximum efficiency thanks to Agrifac’s innovative in-house developed solutions according to the 4E’s for growers concept (Efficiency, Economy, Ecology, and Ergonomy).
HIGH-CAPACITY MACHINE
Farming with a high-capacity machine offers the opportunity to enhance productivity and in turn, increase coverage per hour. The Condor Endurance world record holder self-propelled sprayer is equipped with a 2,100 gal tank and booms spanning up to 180 feet. Thanks to the stable world famous StabiloPlus chassis, it is possible to spray at 20 miles per hour whilst maintaining a consistent application rate, perfect stability of the boom in the crop and optimum coverage across the field. In Australia, the Condor Endurance proved its capacity capabilities by spraying a whopping 6,518 acres in 24 hours; doubling the previous world record.
OPTIMUM COVERAGE IN HILLY AREAS
Challenges that growers in mountainous areas face are resolved by Agrifac solutions too. Concentrating on their changing terrain, the Agrifac Condor MountainMaster was developed to offer full grip, robust traction control and accelerated power. The proven design enables the machine to level itself out on slopes with an incline/decline of up to 20%. The spray boom automatically adapts itself to the crop using intelligent distance monitoring sensors, resulting in perfect coverage even in hilly areas.
HIGH CROP SOLUTIONS
Farmers with tall crops such as corn, wheat and sunflowers need access to solutions that allow them to treat their fields during every growth stage. The Agrifac Condor Clearance machine offers an increased ground clearance of 79″ and special crop guiders to help prevent damage to taller plants, resulting in the potential for more yield and in turn, reducing the risk of crop damage. With boom height options up to 14.5 foot in addition to chassis clearance, this offers farmers the possibility to do a last spray run late in the season whilst still ensuring high quality care of the crop.
INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
As well as increasing efficiency, savings can be achieved with Agrifac’s innovative solutions such as camera spraying and task map spraying, combined with Agrifac’s 100Hz PWM system. Canadian and Australian farmers currently incorporating Agrifac’s spot spraying solutions within their spraying operations achieved input savings of up to 95%, heightening their operational profitability.
