This position is for 40 hours per week. (Additional hours may be required at peak times) You will be part of a small team of sales and service colleagues covering our UK partners and end users. You will visit our headquarters in Steenwijk (The Netherlands) periodically. The majority of your time you will be on the road to visit partners, customers, conduct demonstrations/installations and attend exhibitions.
Role
Agrifac UK are looking for a highly motivated demonstration and installation colleague who will ensure that service partners, customers and our Agrifac Sales & Service team are supported in an adequate and correct way.
Main duties expected include, but are not limited to:
- Carry out product demonstrations to new and existing customers
- Carry out machine installations on farm, working closely between the sales team and aftersales team
- Facilitate Wholegood Movements
- Attend and represent the brand at various events and exhibitions across the country also supporting service partners
- Assist the sales team with day to day activities
- Assist with preparation of New/ Demo and Used machinery at the head office in March and also externally on site
- CRM input of information
- Maintain knowledge and stay up to date with market/industry trends, including products and technology to aid with daily conversations
Qualities you should possess
- Robust knowledge of the agricultural industry is desirable, Sprayer experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- High attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a positive, pro-active, can-do attitude
- Good overall computer literacy. Experience in Excel and Microsoft Word is essential
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team when required
- Excellent organisational and time-keeping skills, plus be able to work to deadlines
- A full UK driving licence is required; you should be prepared to travel regularly within the UK and overseas on occasion
