Agrifac continues to invest heavily in technology targeting application at plant level and already has an impressive product portfolio that includes DynamicDosePlus – (targeted high accuracy application (25x25cm) from prescription maps) and the industry leading AiCPlus – (machine mounted artificial intelligence driven optical spraying with Green on Brown and Green on Green capability). To further strengthen its position as the leader in precision application Agrifac is expanding its offering with the addition of WEED-IT on the Condor and Condor Endurance field sprayers.
“WEED-IT is a worldwide commonly used spot spray system to control weeds in a very efficient way. The option to combine WEED-IT with our Agrifac field sprayers makes the entire crop protection on your farm even more efficient,” says Rens Albers, Product Manager at Agrifac
WEED-IT provides effective, reliable weed control by detecting living green organic material using fluorescence technology. This works by measuring the degree of reflection of plants in certain light wavelengths. This technique makes it possible to work both day and night with a guaranteed hit ratio. This highly effective method of spot spraying (usually applied outside the growing season) has been widely proven since 1999 in countries such as Australia, the United States and Canada.

The first Agrifac sprayers equipped with this technology have now been delivered in Australia and Europe.
Air assistance to get the chemicals to the right spot, AirFlowPlus
Agrifac is introducing the air assistance system, AirFlowPlus. The distinguishing feature of this system is the installation of fans every three metres. This creates an unprecedented air capacity and uniform distribution of the air across the total width of the spray boom, irrespective of the working widths and the number of boom sections you are working with!
