Function description
Within the Service group of Aftersales, as a Service Support Engineer, you support our dealers and end users in the event of questions, malfunctions, and requests for service to make the machine(s) in question optimally available again as quickly as possible. You execute first line technical support, remote or on location, if necessary, you schedule additional service engineers in consultation and arrange the parts and other matters that are required for this. To this end, you work with a number of administrative systems (including ERP, ticket system). There is regular coordination with your colleagues from Service and, if necessary, also with other departments within the company. You shape this in a pleasant and effective way, in which the interests of the customer and Agrifac are well represented.
Responsibilities
- ‘Hand on’ support in the field: commissioning and technical interventions together with dealers or our own technician.
- Central coordination between dealer / customer, the French Agrifac team and the factory (service helpdesk).
- Accepting, questioning, analyzing, answering and registering malfunctions, incidents, questions and service requests from dealers.
- Explain complex matter to the dealer in an understandable way.
- Escalating unresolved issues and (proactively) coordinating responses to the dealer or end user.
- Capture support notifications and responses in a ticketing system. Making data analyses and determining whether follow-up actions need to be initiated.
- Professionalizing the support, ensuring that all relevant data of a machine is quickly and clearly available when a dealer reports with a question or malfunction.
- Interpret available data from the machine in order to be able to advise the dealer.
- Consult with colleagues when service support messages need to be converted into service orders.
- Mutual sharing of knowledge with colleagues.
- Contribute to selected (improvement) projects.
Requirements
- You have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering. hydraulics).
- You preferably come from an agricultural working environment.
- You already have several years of demonstrable experience in a similar position within a technical company.
- Accurate, stress-resistant, committed and flexible.
- French as a mother tongue, good command of the English language (oral and written).
