Function Description

Every farmer and contractor has its own daily challenge to achieve the highest possible return at the lowest cost. On a more global level, we know there is sufficient capacity to produce enough food, despite the increasing world population. Farmers can grow sufficient, healthier, safer and more sustainable food. Because that’s exactly the business that Agrifac is in!

Our Account manager contributes to this daily challenge to our (potential) customers in France with a professional and enthusiastic attitude, with the goal to increase the market share. He/she is an ambassador of the company and shows a representative and positive impression.

Further activities

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in your region to generate new business for the organization’s products/services;
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization;
  • To take responsibility for maximizing your own sales results in conjunction with your manager;
  • The job requires regular coordination between various departments of the organization(s). You do this in a pleasant and effective manner, that represents the importance of the interests;
  • Customer satisfaction is essential for Agrifac. We therefore want you to maintain an excellent relationship with our current customers;
  • You set up a dealer network;
  • You represent Agrifac at exhibitions.

Job requirements

  • A degree in higher professional education;
  • At least 5 -10 years of experience in a comparable sales function;
  • Extensive experience in selling machinery for the agriculture and/or for growing vegetables and fruit;
  • A proven track record of sales achievements;
  • You are fluent in written and spoken French and English;
  • You are willing to travel around the country and Holland.

  • You go out and look for new business. You are highly independent and self-driven. You love nothing more than the thrill of the chase and you want to close as many leads and sales as possible.
